Have you guys ever wondered what is an actroid? Well, let me tell you what it is. Its what you have never imagined that someone so creative have designed. Something so advance in this generation. Something that attracts your eyes and make you go "Wow!"
According to wikepedia, an actroid is a humanoid robot with strong visual human-likeness developed by the University of Osaka. It was manufactured by Kokoro Company Ltd.
What are the features of this robot? It has features of a woman. A woman in reality I would say but much more beauiful and perfect. The only thing that is keeping the actroid from looking like a natural human is that it has limited actions. They only can stay at one position without moving and their hands and body gestures still consist jerky movements. I mean it can never be prefect no matter how hard human tries because robots just can't be like us. If they do, they will conquer the world!
What can the actroid do? The actroid can talk, blink, dance, move their body and hands, reply questions and many more! On youtube, there was a robot performance that include 4-5 robots dancing together. What is the best part? The best part is, the robot were all synchronized! Isn't that incredible? These days humans just have amazing ideas.
If you people have a chance, please feel free to log on to youtube and have a look at some of the examples of these actroids or robots or, go to Japan and visit places that have displays of them. You will know how incredible it is.
